Global Scholars
Our 5th Grade Global Scholars class, in partnership with Global Cities (globalcities.org), offers students a unique opportunity to explore the world beyond their classroom. Through an innovative e-classroom experience, students connect with peers from around the globe to learn about different cultures, traditions, and perspectives and solve real-world problems.
In this dynamic course, students develop essential skills in global communication, collaboration, and digital citizenship. They engage in guided discussions, participate in virtual exchanges, and work on collaborative projects that help them better understand what it means to be a global citizen.
By examining topics such as culture, identity, community, and global issues, students build empathy and broaden their worldviews. The program empowers them to communicate respectfully across cultures while strengthening their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The Global Scholars experience inspires curiosity, fosters meaningful connections, and prepares our students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
